Reporting from various sources, here are some myths and facts about water.

Drink plenty of water to lose weight

Fact: Drinking water is calorie free and sugar-free is a better way to get the daily fluid intake rather than sipping sugary, high-calorie drinks such as soft drinks.

Several studies have shown that drinking half a liter of water before meals can help you eat less. But the key here is, that we actually need to eat smaller portions, because the water was not actually reduce the fat in the body.

Fact: This is probably one of the most trusted less precise about the water consumption. It certainly raised a lot of tips on lots of bottled water beverage manufacturers.

It is true, our bodies need enough water every day. According to the British Dietetic Association, most of us need about six to eight glasses of fluid a day. Remember: the liquid. Instead of water.

Liquids can also be obtained from the food we eat. Let's say that fruits and vegetables are 80-90% consisting of a liquid. Not to other beverages such as milk, tea and coffee.

Especially in the heat that causes perspiration, we need to make up the fluid intake out. Our bodies are also able to regulate the water content is very good.

Fact: Again there is no clinical evidence to support this statement. Goldfard reports that this is not the way the kidneys work. When you drink plenty of water then there is the addition of urine volume, but not necessarily increase the expense of substances that are part of the urine.

Sodium and urea may be issued, but no clinical benefit of this. Even some states that would benefit the water intake of organ function. However, no studies have documented the benefits as well.

Extreme sports athletes such as marathon runners are familiar with that. Exercise is going to cause them to sweat thereby eliminating both water and electrolytes, including sodium.

But if they drink lots of water in a short time without replacing the lost electrolytes, sodium levels in the blood can be potentially life threatening.

Bottled water is healthier

Fact: Water taps are actually cook according to the standard of health and safety requirements. And, it was constantly tested thus considered safe to drink. As for bottled water often comes from exactly the same source as tap water.

Even a lot of bottled water has a lower safety standards than tap water. Hargnya not to mention more expensive because it must include the resources, shipping, and sales.

Drinking water to improve your skin

Fact: There is no scientific data confirming that drinking water actually fix the water content in the skin. Although there is evidence that dehydration affects the skin, but no data that proves this skin repair.

Dr. Goldfarb and Dr. Negoianu found solid evidence that people living in hot climates, dry, as well as athletes, have more need for water, and people with certain diseases such as kidney stones need to consume more water.

In addition, Dr. Goldfarb also found cases of women who experience swelling of the gland of the brain dead when she drank water continuously and very rapidly within a few minutes as part of a contest.
