Participants harass Indonesian Idol, RCTI Apologize

Station RCTI as Indonesian Idol organizers apologized to the people of Indonesia, Indonesian Idol judge abuses related to the participants.

RCTI also promised to be more careful and not do another action that leads to gender harassment.

Head of Corporate Secretary RCTI, Driantama RS stated that after mediation by the Alliance of Concerned Citizens Television Indonesia (AMPATI) at the National Human Rights Commission. According Drian there are three things that was agreed by all parties.

"First, RCTI was sorry. Second, the RCTI will not do it again in the future. Third, the RCTI will be declared a public apology at the close of Indonesian Idol will," said Driantama Ampati after mediation by the National Human Rights Commission, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (6/6)

Driantama also confirmed that prior to mediation, it has not been willing to convey the apology.

"Right when it was thought that way. It was noted AMPATI in the forum earlier. I am not surprised by that notion," he explained.
